New School Drop-Off and Pick-Up Reference Guide:
While students were learning from home last school year, the Safe Routes to School Program was busy developing resources for schools in preparation for the return to in-person learning. While students were learning from home this past school year, SR2S developed school resources in preparation for the return to in-person learning. In anticipation of increased car traffic which can make navigating the drop-off and pick-up process more stressful, the SR2S team developed this reference guide.
This new guide provides schools with ideas separated into easy-to-implement changes and long-term solutions to keep school drop-off and pick-up traffic moving, and making it safer for students walking and biking to school.

If you need a plan, SR2S staff can help identify improvements or programs to address safety during these high traffic times. See how we can support a new program with potential project funding and materials.
